Canuck Place, Vancouver Children’s Hospice

If you are not familiar with Canuck Place Hospice it is an amazing place for very sick children. Their motto is that sick children should “Embrace Life” and they believe in empowering them to live fully and joyfully with the time that they have left. This Children’s hospice was first opened in 1995 and has been helping to bring some joy into the last minutes of children’s lives ever since. It has a reputation as one of the best pediatric palliative care homes in North America. Kavanagh Vancouver Limousine is proud to be a sponsor of this amazing place. Taking the kids to the aquarium or just for a spin in one of our limousines is something we really enjoy doing, and the kids always have a great time too. The Canuck Place Hospice is home to over 300 children and teens who have terminal illnesses. They offer around the clock support to these very sick children and bring some joy into the end of a very sad event. They not only have a staff of physicians and nurses but they also have counseling services available to the families of these children.
